Welcome to the Inn of the Open Flame. This is what we, the patrons, of the ADND-L list call our 'virtual tavern' in which we discuss matters 'in character'.

Curently we only have a few patrons who have submitted information about themselves, but we hope to have more soon!

ADND-L is a discussion list for and about AD&D (Advanced Dungeons and Dragons). We discuss just about anything realting to AD&D. Topics have included Infravision, Slavery, Spells, Monsters, Magic Items, Combat Techniques, and Alignment.

During discusstion, we tend to either portray ourselves or one of our characters. When discussing things in character we call ADND-L 'The Inn of the Open Flame' and call the discussion 'in personna', usally denotes with PERS in teh subject line. This can lead to many interesting tangents, based on the stories related by the characters. This can also lead to 'flare ups' which we call flames, hence the name.

Be sure to disable your .sig if you have one.

You will recieve a confermation letter that you must respond to. After you have confirmed your subsctition, you will start to receive LOTS of mail about AD&D and the worlds we have created. Be sure to SAVE your List RULES as these do tend to get trounced, and Brad sends out periodic reminders, but the posting has some commands you will need someday. As well as other useful tit-bits (and bytes).
